{"id":266,"date":"2016-04-18T18:40:54","date_gmt":"2016-04-18T18:40:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newrockinjump.wpengine.com\/gaithersburg\/?p=266"},"modified":"2016-04-18T18:40:54","modified_gmt":"2016-04-18T18:40:54","slug":"safety-first","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rockinjump.com\/gaithersburg\/safety-first\/","title":{"rendered":"Safety first!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At <\/span><b>Rockin\u2019 Jump<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, our number one priority (besides fun!) is <\/span><b><i>safety. <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And as we have more and more kids in our facility during the summer months, it\u2019s important to know about our safety measures and what procedures you can take during jump time!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What do we do? <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Monitor the arenas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Our trained staff is available during jump time and will be monitoring all floors. This includes making sure it does not get overcrowded and rules are being followed! They will stop any unsafe play or bad behavior. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Coaching!<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Our staff wants you to get the most out of your experience; ask them for help if you\u2019re having a tough time! <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Equipment maintenance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. We monitor our equipment very closely to make sure everything is in mint condition and safe for the kids. If any of the equipment looks suspicious, it is reported immediately. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Sanitize.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Cleanliness is key! We sanitize all surfaces and ensure our areas are in tip top shape. For more on our germ free zone, see our latest blog (insert the germ free rockin\u2019 jump blog link here)! <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Reminders.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> There is signage throughout the facility re-stating the safety rules and guidelines. If you have any questions, refer to these posters or ask a staff member. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Attend meetings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our management team attends weekly conference calls and quarterly\/annual meetings hosted by the ASTM in an effort to ensure all of our parks and employees are on top of our safety game.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What should you do? <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Wear socks!<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> This is important for your personal hygeine and others. Our non-slip socks at the counter for $2.50 before your jump. This is REQUIRED. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Empty your pockets.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> We don\u2019t want anyone stepping on keys, pocket knives or other dangerous items. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Don\u2019t chew gum.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Not only can come end up on our trampolines, but you could choke as well! Gum must not be chewed during jump time. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Be mindful of others<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Watch out for small kids, and don\u2019t do anything that could hurt others. This might include unsafe jumps (flips, jumping over each other, double jumping, etc). <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Land on two feet<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Don\u2019t ever land on one foot or try to do crazy stunts. This can result in serious injury!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Wash your hands<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. With a bunch of kids in one area, this is the best way to prevent the spread of germs. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>No food and drinks. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To help keep the area as clean as possible and for your own safety benefit, please don\u2019t eat or drink near the jumping arena. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Sign the waiver<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. This is REQUIRED. All jumpers must <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/mdm.store.rockinjump.com\/waiver\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sign a waiver<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> before jump time. Sign it online before you go to save some time!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Remember, we are not here to be the bad guys; we\u2019re here to help you!
