family parks near meOne of the nice things about living in and around Winston-Salem is that the area is very family friendly. There are lots of things to do for people of all ages. There are also several types of parks. When looking for great family parks near me, consider these four:

Quarry Park

Winston-Salem’s newest park may also be its most beautiful. Comprised of over 200 acres, Quarry Park is perfect for walkers and bike riders. The park offers amazing views of the city skyline and the water-filled quarry.

Bethabara Park

If you want to experience history, Bethabara Park is the perfect place. First settled over 250 years ago, it includes 183 acres. It features the oldest standing church with attached residence in all of North America and a reconstructed colonial village.

Bethabara Park is home to more than 120 bird species. The park also provides nature trails and the chance to spot numerous animals. These include deer, foxes, otters, and mink.

Reynolds Park

Reynolds Park has a lot of amenities, including an 18-hole golf course. There is also a playground, rec center, and many trails for walking or biking.

Rockin’ Jump Trampoline Park

Okay, Rockin’ Jump is not an outdoor park like the other ones, but it is probably the most fun. In addition to our trampolines, we have other great things to do. We have an arcade, rock climbing wall, and a laser maze.

One of the best things about Rockin’ Jump is that we are indoors. This means no matter how bad the weather gets, you can come see us and have a great time. Plus, we throw amazing birthday parties.

Why do so many folks love Rockin’ Jump? Let Daniel Pelaez explain in this five-star review he left us recently:

“Great environment!! A ton of fun for all ages! They play great music! The staff here is incredible! They have discounts for church groups and military!”
